Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (TERAJU) and the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) has established strategic partnership to enhance the skills of local workers in the construction sector. Collaboration in the implementation of this Excellence Center aims to develop the capacity, capability and expertise of Bumiputera through training and sharing of latest technology in specialized fields.
This initiative will enhance the quality, productivity and expertise of Bumiputera in the construction industry thereby encouraging Bumiputera participation in higher paying jobs, in line with the direction of Bumiputera economic transformation roadmap.
Some of the companies involved in the mega-projects and have expertise in specific areas will contribute to the success of this initiative. The participants trained in this center will be placed in MMC-Gamuda, PNB Merdeka Ventures, Naza TTDI and Widad Business Group for industrial training.
