Citrine Capital is looking to support impact-driven ventures that are actively solving ASEAN’s challenges within the education industry. Specifically, they’re looking at solutions that equip the young generation with the right knowledge and/or skills fit for the future.
Education is essential for long-term social and economic wellbeing of individuals and societies. As such, in every way that educators, investors, entrepreneurs, government and philanthropists plan and execute, they are innovating towards a better future for all. Innovation is indeed valued as a catalyst to progress, in managing threats (e.g. disconnect between education and employment, schooling not translating into learning, lack of human capital), as well as seizing opportunities (e.g. globalisation, future of work, advancements in technology).
Motivated and committed – Citrine Capital, in collaboration with MaGIC’s Social Impact Challenge Accelerator (SICA), is looking to support ventures that are actively innovating, with purposeful intent for positive impact, within the education industry. Criteria / Eligibility
Early Stage Venture
Open to local and foreign businesses with a minimum of 18 months in operation.
Ideally incorporating the use of technology within your solution or the solution itself can be technology-based.
Strong Management Capacity
A solid team with the necessary experience and capacities to make things happen.
Scalable Growth Strategy
The proposed solution is applicable, adoptable, replicable and/or scalable across different settings and different markets.
Proven Revenue-Generating Model
Meeting the demand of target market who is willing to pay for your product/service.
Purposeful Intentions for Impact
The solution is addressing a problem (backed by research) that aligns with the overall challenge theme.
