Projek 57 SE.A Accredited

Projek57 aspires to create a 'Movement of Hope' of proud Malaysians standing together in unity for our nation, whilst helping the underprivileged.

In early 2015, both of us sat at a cafe talking about how issues of racial polarisation and religious tension c grabbing our headlines. Way into the 21st century and yet we seem to be moving further away from being united. It seems strange, doesn’t it? After several discussions, chats and lots of coffee, our Unity project titled ‘Projek57 A Movement of Hope’ was born. We use ‘Movement’ and ‘Hope’ because we want people to join us in rising above the negative vibes, and focus on what is great, wonderful and beautiful about Malaysia. We share the vision of our beloved first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman, that ‘Our future depends on how well many different kinds of people can live and work together’. We want to be a spark for those who feel there is no hope, to realise that not only is there hope but that hope is in our hands and together we can make a difference. We engage with youths, be they from schools, colleges, universities or the Orang Asli community. These engagements are a key mission of Projek57. Reminding them about the values upon which our country was founded, and at the same time, impacting lives of the underserved through empowerment and contributions from the sale of our merchandise. Our story is simply about a relationship of trust and mutual respect between two friends who have been business partners for almost 20 years.
