• Bachelor’s Degree in any Field. Project Management certification will be an advantage.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective policy strategies; delivering complex, high-impact projects on time and within budget and building and maintaining effective relationships with government stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
• Experience with ideation and prototyping tools and methodologies, such as design thinking, lean startup, and rapid prototyping.
• Strong understanding of government processes, policies, and regulations, and ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in policy development, project management and government relation or related field.

Policy Development

• Develop and execute a comprehensive policy strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and objectives, both internally and externally.
• Research, analyze, and develop policy positions on a wide range of issues related to the organization's mission and objectives, and advocate for these positions to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage and oversee the organization's policy development process, including identifying policy needs and gaps, drafting policy proposals, and coordinating policy review and approval.
• Develop and implement effective policy communication strategies, including white papers, reports, and other materials to support the organization's policy positions.
• Conduct regular policy audits and reviews to ensure that policies are up-to-date, effective, and aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.
• Monitor and analyze policy developments and trends related to the organization's interests, and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including policymakers, government officials, industry groups, and other organizations.
• Represent the organization in relevant policy forums, meetings, and events, and effectively communicate the organization's policy positions and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and coordination on policy initiatives and advocacy efforts.
• Manage the policy development team, providing guidance and support to ensure that the team performs exceptionally.

Government Engagement 

• Develop and execute government engagement strategies and plans that align with the company's goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders through effective communication and engagement programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of government engagement strategies and tactics.
• Represent the company in government affairs events, forums, and industry associations to promote thought leadership and brand recognition.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant policy and regulatory developments, and provide timely and insightful analysis to company leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Manage correspondences with government stakeholders, including drafting letters, emails, and other communications, and ensuring timely and appropriate responses to all inquiries or requests.
• Provide guidance to employees on government protocols and compliance requirements.
• Lead a team of government affairs professionals, providing mentorship, guidance and support.

Special Projects

• Develop and lead the ideation and prototyping of high-impact strategic initiatives and projects to support the company's goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development of concepts, feasibility studies, and prototypes to test new product, service, and business model ideas that create significant value for the company.
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for ideation and prototyping, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-implementation review, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Build and manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support project delivery and achieve business goals.
• Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop project managers and other project team members, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
