Manager, Drone Tech - Ecosystem Development

The primary role is to assist the manager in managing stakeholders, securing partnerships, planning & executing initiatives, hosting events & programmes and advocating works within the DroneTech in Malaysia which MRANTI is now leading a Drone Technology Action Plan (MDTAP30) with the potential to generate RM50.71bil in GDP and create 100,000 jobs opportunity by 2030 and to position MRANTI Park’s Area57 as the model Drone Centre of Excellence in Malaysia.

Job Requirements

Possess Degree in Business or Technical competency
Proficiency in English & Malay language
Proficiency in Market Research, Public Relations, and preferably Drone related Regulations
Minimum 6 years working experience in a consulting role, technology advisory, business development locally and international (Preferably Drone Related)
Experienced in marketing, business development and client management.
Soft Skills: Managerial/Supervisory Skill, Negotiation skill, Presentation Skills, Business Acumen, etc
Hard Skill: Specific programing skills, Specific MS (Microsoft Office) skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in formulating partnership engagement strategies aligned with the direction of the DroneTech Initiative, MDTAP30 Initiative and Area57.
Responsible for securing relations and partnerships with potential stakeholders.
Assist in managing strategic partner’s satisfaction, including developing and implementing strategies to promptly address issues and concerns identified throughout the partnership.
Identify and engage potential local and global private, public sector and academia partners to participate in the DroneTech Ecosystem.
Facilitate DroneTech programmes and events for existing and future partners.
Facilitate the tracking, monitor and periodically report milestones achievements of existing and proposed DroneTech programmes using appropriate medium, tools & dashboard
