-Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or related field.

-Demonstrated writing, editing, proofreading and blogging skills

-Experience writing copy for Education, Social Impact, Sustainability, Platform Technology, would be beneficial

The ideal candidate should be able to perform the following:

-Participate in brainstorming sessions with the Biji-biji / Me.reka Comms Team to plan content and structure blogs articles

-Work with a large team of project leads, project participants, partners, and clients to produce content that befits the theme

-Produce high-quality content, elevating our brands and showcasing the work we do to potential clients, funders and partners

-Produce content that is highly engaging, shareable, and suitable to be featured as sponsored content or to be published on media platforms

-Assist with other creative processes, such as in choosing the right photographs, videos, quotes, graphics, and other visual elements featured on our blogs

-Familiarity with the Biji-biji/Me.reka brand and their services, understanding our target audience and competitor activities in the market

-Conduct independent primary and secondary research (interviews, in-person meetings, literature reviews, etc.)

-Produce copies that meet SEO standards and increase domain authority for our websites

-Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.

-Oversee the publishing process on the Biji-biji and Me.reka blog pages.

-Monitoring responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience.
