Let Captain Shrimp do the cooking this Christmas

The holiday season is the perfect time for celebrating, gathering with friends and family, and hosting festive parties. Throughout this month, the dear Captain is offering two Christmas sets, each catering to a different number of guests. Having an intimate Christmas meal for six this year? Then the Festive Treats set at only RM415 will be just right. The set includes Grilled New Zealand Lamb Shoulder, Baked Fish Fillet and Fried Calamari, as well as finger food like Grilled Meatballs, Roasted Corn Cobs and Fried Boneless Chicken. And to round up the meal, dig into the addictive Pasta Neapolitan Chicken as well as the crunchy Black Bean Almond Salad. Three sauces are also included in the set – brown sauce, smoky BBQ and the newly-introduced chilli garlic mayo.

Perhaps you have a much bigger dining party coming to town? Well, the RM665 Merry Reunion serves up to ten easily! In this set, the Seven-Spice Chargrilled Lamb takes centre-stage, with it’s blend of herbs and spices deeply infused into the meat. Seafood lovers can chomp down on Baked US Mussel, encrusted with a layer of cheese, and a tangy Shrimp Pineapple Salsa.

Alongside the tried and tested Chargrilled Chicken Breast, this year also sees the addition of Jalapeno Queso Beef Nachos. Crunchy and bite-sized, be careful not to fight over these Mexican delights as there is more than enough to go around. Same goes for the greens, in the form of the Harvest Vegetable Medley. Also, keep an eye out and a hand open for the Thyme Potato, best eaten hot! And if you just need a little more carb to make you feel all stuffed and satisfied, there is Pasta Ham with mushrooms.

Condiments include mint sauce, Carolina BBQ, Cajun peppercorn and chilli garlic mayo, a delight for any Tex-Mex fan.
