Skim Usahawan Permulaan Bumiputera or SUPERB is a RM100 million grant fund to finance Bumiputera start-ups. Each team of entrepreneurs has to go through a business challenge by pitching their ideas for funding approval. There are 4 application windows throughout the year.
The programme is open to Bumiputera who aspires to be an entrepreneur or Bumiputera companies operating for less than 3 years.
Winners of SUPERB Business Challenge would be offered funds up to RM500,000 per company to develop their ideas into prototypes/proof-of-concepts and/or to attain commercialisation. In addition to providing funds, SUPERB also offers developmental services and commercialisation support which includes mentorship, training for competency building and possibly further funds from venture capitalists.
