MCWEF, a non-profit and non-government organisation, was officially set up in just four months and Tan Sri Lim not only managed to get sponsors, but he also went to the Prime Minister’s finance department and put forward one million ringgit’s worth of personal security deposit. In addition, Tan Sri Lim also came up with proposals and lending rules. MCWEF foresees that they can help 30,000 people in the next 10 years, thanks to this funding by the government.
