Similar to the Fund for Small and Medium Industries 2 (FSMI2), NEF2 is part of the Government's effort to ensure the eligible SMEs in both the export and domestic-oriented sectors will have access to financing at a reasonable cost. NEF2 is available to Bumiputera SMEs in all economic sectors, namely agriculture, manufacturing (including agro-based) and services, with the maximum tenure of financing of five years.
