Athena Empowers

Affordability of menstrual pad has been a monthly challenge to the majority of  the indigenous people in Malaysia especially in the remote areas, that resulting to low engagement of indigenous girls in school and the society.

Athena Empowers addresses neglected women specific sanitation needs in its own right . Our module includes Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) education, that can also act as a mean to increase girls’ school engagement and create a foundation for good reproductive health choices throughout her life.

We create a natural solution for personal care, a better choice, make impact for themselves ,and the universe by  providing the beneficiaries with a set of  Athena washable menstrual pad that can lasts up to 5 years. The pad distribution comes along with awareness program on the fundamental role that good menstrual hygiene management (MHM) plays in enabling women and girls to reach their full potential.
